2009 Tasting Stars Raises Over $30,000 for Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois
The seventh annual "Tasting Stars" champagne event to benefit Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois (formerly Y-ME Illinois) was held on Saturday, February 28, 2009. More than 100 guests enjoyed a champagnes from Veuve Clicquot, delectable pairings by Entertaining Company, signature champagne cocktails from Pops for Champagne, mini martinis from The Capital Grille, and sweet treats from Terry’s Toffee.
We are happy to announce that this year's event raised more than $30,000 for Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois, supporting its mission of providing immediate emotional relief to anyone affected by breast cancer and ensuring that no one faces breast cancer alone.
We would like to thank everyone who made this success possible, including our guests, Charles Stanfield, Dolores & Ralph Barnett, our Tasting Stars crew of volunteers, the Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois staff, and all of the donors listed on this page.
